In Depth Look
I removed the unit from the package using side cutters to cut the wire ties that was used to hold the unit on the card stock. Now is the time for a drop test. It was dropped from ten feet onto concrete and produced only slight facial damage. I don’t recommend this for your own use. This was for test purposes only to see how rugged the unit is.
Next, I inserted a non threaded 16g cartridge into the cup with the narrow end upward. Next, I screwed the cup into the head unit until it just began to touch the puncture seal. Once it made contact with the puncture pin I quickly and firmly tighten the cup to make the seal. Make sure you tighten completely or you will loose your Co2, listen for air leaking around the seal. It is basically the same procedure for a threaded cartridge except you thread the cartridge into the socket in the bottom of the head. So far so good, everything is going well.
