In-depth Look

The first thing I noticed was that the leather was glued and screwed underneath which I believe is a great way to prevent the leather from pulling loose. The textured leather complete with the embroidery is a nice addition to this great saddle. This saddle weighs only 248 grams or 8.7 ounces which may be a little heavier than some leather saddles in this price range but not heavy enough to make a big difference. The saddle installed in a matter of minutes like most saddles. I quickly wanted to ride this saddle and see how comfortable it was. Starting out it felt really great but how was it going to do on a rough mountain bike trail. I rode for 2 hours on a really rough trail and I have to say this was one of the most comfortable bike saddles I have ridden. No chaffing, no soreness just a very comfortable ride. The textured leather did really make for a better grip when needed. The density support foam in the rear did just what it was supposed to, protect your rump.
