Introduction
Today we are going to take a look at the patented Parallelogram Design Deluxe DX bike rack by Softride. Softride has been making bicycle racks for many years and also manufacturers some very good bicycles. The DX bike rack we are looking at today includes integrated rubber straps that stops sway and really holds the bike while protecting the finish. The arms are also positioned 12 inches apart to help prevent sway while keeping your bikes separated. The rack has a retractable cable that you can lock around your bikes to help prevent theft. The foot release is really a neat feature that you can press with your foot to release the rack that allows it to fold backwards down and away so you can open the back door or window in an SUV. The unit has a lock system included that locks the rack to your 2 inch or one and one-half inch receiver hitch. The unit comes with an unbelievable lifetime warranty to the original purchaser.
