The Ride
I tested the Ixa bike saddle on a cool Spring day and really enjoyed the ride. After getting the saddle properly adjusted on my seatpost I started out for a 13 mile ride. The sky was very clear today with a temperature around 70 degrees. I don’t think we will be testing the water resistance of the saddle today. I did a lot of downhills on the trail today and the Ixa was really proving to me what kind of saddle it was. I decided that I would take the saddle with me on an out of state bike trip during the weekend where we would be doing 68 miles each day of intense mountain bike trails. I felt confident enough that the Ixa would perform well after this 13 mile ride.
Conclusion
Sette USA has done it again. They have produced a quality made saddle and at very reasonable price. If you are looking to purchase a saddle in the near future you should really give the Ixa consideration. I believe you will really enjoy this saddle. For the price and quality I don't think you will find another titanium and leather saddle anywhere. With that, cycling Reviews "Highly Recommends" the Sette USA IXA saddle.
