The Ixa saddle has gel positioned in just the right spots to support the soft tissue areas. The top area as you can see from the photo has a breathable area in the center rear of the saddle. The leather attaches to the underside with glue and or screws. This should keep the leather in place any weather condition you may encounter. One thing that I have noticed with all Sette USA products is that they put a lot of time and energy to making a good product at a reasonable price. Sette USA prices are much lower than most other biking component manufacturers.
