    Installation

The installation is pretty much straight forward and we decided to install the handlebar mount first. The first thing I noticed was that the mount seemed pretty flimsy and you do have to stretch it a bit to get it over the handlebar. It has several adjustments so that it will fit any application. I really like the way it mounts near the center of the handlebar. You must place a rubber gasket around the handlebar prior to tightening the mount down. This keeps every thing in place and hopefully prevents any movement while riding. Next, we mounted the transmitter on the right fork. It must be mounted within 60cm of the computer so care must be made to mount it high up on the fork. It mounts with two nylon wire ties fairly easy. Next the spoke magnet was mounted and I have to say without reservation that I like this magnet mounting better than any I have seen. It mounts by placing the magnet slot through a spoke and then tightening a screw. It should never move. Make sure the magnet is within 2mm of the transmitter and it is lined up with the proper mark on the transmitter.
