The Ride

I first installed my cleats using the provided screws and put on my Sette cycling socks to set out for a ride. As like most shoes there is a break-in period so I may update this review at a later time. The shoes were fairly comfortable when I first put them on and I admit I wish they came in half sizes, but most other cycling shoes do not come in half sizes either. I rode for nearly three hours on a pretty rough mountain bike trail so I could get the feel of the shoes. The comfort was good as well as the feel they have on the clipless pedals. I felt I could give them a lot of foot power while spinning although I felt a little flex in them when I was in a steep climb. My personal taste would be for more mesh and less vinyl on the shoes and I guess I would classify them for cool weather riding verses cold or hot weather riding.
