Ravx Speed X Saddle Review

The Ride

The ride was 14 miles today and I had a beautiful day for it at only 45 degrees and cyrstal blue skies. I set off and after just a minute or two I new that the saddle had to be adjusted. After a quick adjustment I was off again. It felt very well in the beginning but seemed to get a little rougher as time went on. One ride is not a good test for a saddle as you all know it takes some time to break one in and get adjusted to it. I made it back to the shop a little sore but not to bad since this was a new saddle for me today.

Conclusion

The Speed X saddle by Ravx is a good quality made bike saddle that should provide some quality years of service. I believe the padding could be more dense and maybe the saddle could be an inch wide for me. Everyone has their own preference with bike saddles so you may have to try several before you settle on any one. Cycling Reviews would like to thank Ravx for help making this review possible.

Pros
  • Leather
  • Titanium rails
  • Full cut zones

    Cons
  • Not enough padding for my liking
