The Speed X has a leather covering that is stapled on the bottom. The titanium rails have a rail scale which is handy for adjustments. I really like the full cut zone and maybe this will be comfortable. The nose and rear of the saddle has a carbon look or finish. The saddle does not weigh very much coming in at only 207 grams. I decided to mount the saddle using my t-handle allen wrench by Ice Toolz. It mounted very quickly and easy and I was off for a ride.
