The Ride
I mounted the Flash X very quickly using just my Ice Toolz multi-tool. I decided to take it for a nite time ride on a cool 40 degree night with no rain. I was riding a 6 mile bike trail not to far from our shop and had another rider with me to help me out. The flash X was very visible from a long distance and it worked best in the flashing mode. It was very visible for long distances on the single track. We tested it on a lonely dark road and you could see it over one half mile away. In our test the batteries lasted over 97 hours with the standard general purpose batteries in the flashing mode.
Conclusion
Ravx has really made a quality product that can be used for cycling, hiking, and jogging. It can even be used in an emergecy to summons help. Buy you one of these, you can't go wrong.
