In Depth Look

I first tried my drop test that I have not done in some time now. I dropped the light from ten feet on to concrete to see how well it would hold up. There was only minor appearance damage but nothing more than that, it worked fine. I don't think you will ever see a time when your light goes through this much abuse so it should serve you well. The packaging shows the beam projection goes about 25 feet and in our test it was in that range and more. I didn't find any information about the weight on the package but I found it to weight about 12 ounces. I mounted the light in just a few minutes and loaded up for a test ride. I was riding for about an hour tonight and could actually see quite well with the SuperSpot LED Bike Light. When I got back to the shop I decided to leave the light on to see how long the batteries would last. The batteries lasted 31 hours in our test. You could probably get 40 hours or more using lithium batteries. I may try that one day and see.
