Golite Rave Cycling Jacket Review
Reviewed By: Tim Cameron
Reviewed On: March 28, 2005
Product Page: Golite
Price: $200.00 each

Detailed Look

The Golite Rave jacket is very light weight at 200 grams and is waterproof since it is made mostly of Gore-Tex. It is made for foul weather and any kind of raining conditions. It has a fleece chin guard and two rear mesh core vents to increase air flow. I rode the Rave on a 33 degree day with a light misting rain and winds out of the Southeast at 15mph. The Rave kept me very warm and dry. If only I had rave pants today.

Conclusion

The Golite Rave jacket is a quality made product just like all the great Golite products that we have reviewed. It is windproof and waterproof and weighs nothing. It is self-stowing and has elastic around the waist and cuffs. I believe the jacket is however priced to high. I think Golite would do better by offering it for $100.00 or less. Cycling Reviews would like to thank Golite for help making this review possible.
