GoLite Feather Lite Sleeping Bag Review

Camping

I was using the bag on a two week biking/hiking trip on the Virginia Creeper Trail and the Appalachian Trail. The first night it was a cold 35 degrees and I was really very toasty in the bag. I didn't get cold at all and the bag was roomy enough for me.

Conclusion

The Feather Lite is a great bag for the summer to Fall camper or temperatures down to 40 degrees. I had two 22 degree nights and was actually comfortable but had one 15 degree night and got pretty cold. Of course the bag is rated for 40 degrees not 15 degrees. The bag is constructed very well and is light weight. I would recomend the bag to anyone needing a good quality bag for mild nights and who doesn't mind paying a little more for a high quality bag. Cycling Reviews would like to thank GoLite for sponsoring our trip and helping make this review possible.

Pros
  • Light weight - 1 pound, 6 oz.
  • Double stitching construction
  • Water repellent
  • 800 fill goose down

    Cons
  • Foot ventilation not neccessary (for me)
