Cateye 7 Cyclocomputer Review

The Ride

We travel a well know part of our town and watch the cyclocomputer as much as we could in traffic. We were able to spin around 20 mph in traffic without to much difficulty. The speed odometer seems to be pretty accurate. The odometer was right on the money. The next morning one of our reviews decided to take to the trails. He rode for a couple hours and knowing the trail he said that the Cateye was pretty accurate both in speed and distance. The sensor did become a loose at one point along the trail but was not the fault of the Cateye but probably ours for not tightening it enough. A quick adjustment a we had no more problems. It started raining a one point on the trail and the Cateye paid no attention. When back at the shop we took another look and everything seemed fine.

Conclusion

This is a good quality bike computer at a very resonable price. We would like to thank Cateye for allowing us the opportunity to review the Cateye 7.
