After cycling as a pro for decade, Italian Marcello Bergamo morphed into an inspired creator of cycling apparel. You can always find clothes with exceptional design, comfort and quality by Bergamo. This season the Marcello Bergamo Signature Series (MSS) has been created to celebrate the company’s 25th year.

Richard Pestes took the full kit on the road for Pez-Cycling News and found the Husky SwissPile Fabric and Tessport HYDROfit a good defense against the wind. And since Bergamo knows you’re going to be playing music on your ride, the back center pocket has a slot to route your headphones up to your ears on the inside.

There are more appealing designs, but this is Bergamo’s top performing jersey for 2006, with the most technical fabrics, features and a new, more spacious cut.
